Sorry for my mistake! I found Eureka tip for this problem. If this message appear only on display there is a problem with USB drive. The part number of this: 007N01809

hi! I have image from working drive. If you need please send me your email address for dropbox link. Then unzip and use Win32 imager free app for write this image to another flash drive.

No I was not able to solve short of buying the thumb drive from Xerox. Steve

have you tried booting the unit with any of the options attached and no print or fax line to it? if it boots fine then.. start rebooting adding one option at a time until it goes back to the original problem.
I had a Phaser 8860MFP like that yesterday... it ended up being when it was booting to their network.. an IT guy was in there in the morning adding a new PC to the office... when he left the printer wouldn't work.. he told them it was a printer problem.. I got there proved him wrong... the OM was pissed.

Yes, took it to the shop not connected when i put in a blank thumb drive it starts to go into set up then hangs in initialization this unit uses a thumb drive as the hard drive
