    Xerox Versant 80 error 005-306

    anyone know how I can get rid of this error 005-306
    happened after I reset all the nvms do to another issue

    how did you 'reset' nvram? did you input any of the information back in? resetting it puts it back to factory modem.

      I rest the IOT and IIT nvms and the sys in diagnostics like I have done a million times but for some reason something must have reset
      now it want you to lower the document handle tray when it is lowered already

        Set 711-170 to 0

            A word of caution when resetting NVMs. Always make sure that the NVM sheet is close at hand to program the machine NVMs. Also take note of the following:-

            Check and note if Tag 13 is marked and program the Tag 13 NVMs appropriately or this can result in IBT noise and errors.
            Check and note if Tag 19 is marked and program the Tag 19 NVMs appropriately or this can result in incorrectly programmed vented developer housing NVMs.
            Check and program ATC sensor values from the developer housings installed in the machine appropriately or this can result in incorrectly set ATC settings that can impact correct toner detection in the developer housings.
            All registration related settings need to be performed again to meet specification and resulting in the operator having to perform SIQA to get front to back alignment per stock again.

            Make sure the machine is also on the latest version of software, as there are newer NVM locations added to counteract 2nd BTR premature failure on specific media.
