Versant 80 to Versant 180 Software Upgrade

Has anyone experimented with changing a Versant 80 to 180 via a software upgrade to the FFPS ?

I have a client in Germany who wants to try it, is convinced that it would be a simple software reload and re-license.

If the hardware is the same and the interface card to the printer is the same then yes, it should work.

OK,, customer wants to proceed, finally.

Can someone sell me the software (Versant 180) ?

If we are successful,, and I think that we will be, it will be a large account, couple of Nuveras plus some smaller stuff

OK, we got the Versant 180 software and did the upgrade on the FreeFlow server from a Versant 80 to a Versant 180, and it did work.
It's been running about a week now with no issues.

I have another post i made a day earlier with more detail if anyone else wants to go down this road.
