    Xerox Versant 180 Registration

Does anyone know the right way to adjust registration so that is remains consistent on all papers
I go through the registration series and it seams ok to start with and then if turns crocked after a few sheets
    Thanks

If you have problem from all trays check CIS sensor.
If problem is only from OHCF and tray 5 then perform dc127.

      I do 750 and 751 first
then I do the 127 for tray 6 and 7
then I do the machine profile adjustment
still its not perfect after you start running
      its all over the place

Check adj 7.1 and replace 2nd btr.
Main reason for trapezoidal print is 2nd btr

On some versant machines I replaced 2nd btr assy with only 20k.

                      Re: Xerox Versant 180 Registration

I find these machines very good with registration. With wandering registration from OHCF I usually find to be caused by the MSI pre reg transport (disconnect the OHCF, remove left panel, it's the feed in section there).

It's a V180, so it's old enough to have gotten some serious use and usage aside, I've seen those MSI pre reg rollers with chunks missing from them.

Also worth checking the registration assy is actually set square in the frame. You can visually see this by looking at the registration assy and how it lines up with the left hand drawer runner.

Then look at doing the base calibration (system registration adjustment) in service mode, because SIQA will only work in a certain window of operation.
