Xerox Workcentre 7835i Blank Green Screen, energy saver missing from screen

Hello, I am a personal owner of a used Xerox Workcentre 7835i. It was working amazingly until I had to close for a month unexpectedly. I had it connected to a surge protector. The machine worked fine when I had to make my first set of copies when I returned then it cut off and the screen flashed green with the energy saver icon and a sentence along the top saying not to unplug. It stayed that way for 3 days before I intervened. I tried power cycling/resetting the machine, I tried the white button on the back to reset as well, I even replaced the SD card that I purchased with the image necessary. After replacing the SD card now the screen is missing the words saying to not unplug while it loaded. The buttons also still light up.

I also tried an AltBoot with the files <WorkCentre_7830-35-system-sw#07201000409100#ENG_MOD> and a blank txt doc called FORCED_UPGRADE. I didn't get a screen shot of before swapping the SD card but I am attaching a pic of what the screen looks like now. Can someone suggest any other options? What code you have on small seven segment led display on SBC pwb.

Bad this problem on many 7830...in my case it was in 2 machines the SD card.. In other 2 the HDD.... Happened after continuous power loss after storm.

Bad this problem on many 7830...in my case it was in 2 machines the SD card.. In other 2 the HDD.... Happened after continuous power loss after storm.

Ugh if that's the case there were definite power outages because there was a hurricane in the area while I was gone. I got lots of notices from my energy company about outages but I guess I thought the surge protector would help.

I'm looking for a replacement hard drive. Do you have any tips like what I should make sure it has, before I make the purchase? Thank you

Code 8, check SBC and power to SBC, replace SBC PWB

The download stops at the initialization stage of the SBC board. You can check and reconnect all connectors, check the voltage on the 3V battery, check the supply voltage.

The next stage, which with some probability has a chance to revive the car, is PWS Altboot. Made by representatives of Xerox.

The last stage is the replacement of SBS PVB.
