docucolor 12 HELP!!!

Hello, here's my problem.....i have a docucolor 12 with the fiery x12 version 1.5, but the fiery got stolen , a friend of mine let me borrow his fiery (same model and same version). I already install it in my computer and its connected to my doc12,when i send something to print NOTHING HAPPENS! the fiery does the rip but is not sending it to print and on the doc12 it says "network controller error"

Please help!!!!

first check have you connect cables in proper way. you have print and scanner cable.

second wait to machine and fiery come to ready, and theh try to print configuration or test page from fiery.

if you can not print test or configuration page from fiery, then you may have problem with cables or with fiery.

i already check the cables and nothing happens...i dont know if this is the problem: the fiery doesn't say that is ready it says idle on the bottom of the fiery name.

i did try to print a test page, but i got the same result NOTHING

Check your network first.
you can ping to Xerox machine from your computer.

i did try to connect to the fiery to do the websetup, but for some reason i can't do the setup because of the java application...i can connect to the fiery but i can't connect to the websetup to change the configuration

go on xerox web page, support and drivers and download 1-56ps patch, install it and your machine will work.

also can download composite patch (about 450MB) and install it. That will upgrade your fiery software.

i can't find the patch 1-56ps, is that the patch #?

yes, that is small patch about 60kb,

when find and download them, it should be download to the fiery with command work station, wait 60 seconds, and restart fiery, then you should be possible to print configuration and test page from fiery.

Is there anything I can download and burn to a CD that my Fiery X12 will start from? Right now it hangs at loading after going through the hardware check. Neither the Doc 12 or my Mac sees the Fiery at all, so downloading something to it won't work.
