Sharp/kyo tech needing help on this one. Power up stays stuck on green Energy Star please wait screen. After about 3 minutes there is a click that sounds like a relay and the digital red indicator on the Main Interface PWB at the rear goes from u. to a 0, 5, 9 and the copier seems to reboot again. I had refit all contacts on the formatter. I'm questioning the HDD, but not certain. Any feedback would be great.

Check the system memory dimm's.
If they are good the you can try to reload machine software using forced altboot procedure.
There is an old configuration report from the machine ? -

If the memory dimms are good and you can recover after doing an AltBoot, check the cooling fan in the single board controller. If it's not moving or slow, replace it. If the problem returns or you start getting random reboots out of the machine you may need to replace the controller. The original cooling fans seized up causing the controller to overheat. The replacement fans are more reliable as they have ball bearings. Part # for the new fan is 607K02110.Comment
