The continuing sage of Canon/OCE not believing in Right To Repair and the OCE 300.
I fed in a new roll of paper into #1 feed and somehow it got some paper in the middle caught. Pulled the paper out and there was a chunk torn in the middle of the sheet matching the takeup roller I assume. How the heck do you clear that out?
I spent an hour yesterday trying to open that drawer front section up to access the takeup area and again, as I don't want to break anything, I got stuck. Every other machine opens up with simple latches, etc, but not the OCE!
Great looking machine, scans quickly, but horrible to service.
Lack of freely available service info is appalling. I could not recommend the OCE series to anyone. Sorry I bought it.
