    [Jamming] brother mfc-l2700dw jams paper

Brother MFC-L2700DW does paper jams from cassette but not from bypass. The jam happens after passing fuser unit and makes waves before it's exit.

Seen the same issue on another Brother model and it was always caused by the free wheeling exit roller above the fuser.
You had to remove all the units and the fuser and then stand the machine up on its front.
You could then flex the exit roller in the middle to allow it to pop out.
You have to be very careful not to lose / drop the bushings off either end. If you do it is important to know that they are different and will only go back in the right way round.
You can polish the 4 rubber wheels and it works for a short time, however we found it much better to fit a new roller.

    Hope this helps

In case anyone is interested exit roller is part of Joint cover Assy(not available separately).
