If you have experience with this type of printer, can you say whether it can be used without USB cable or network connection -- In other words, will it operate if I try to print pdf from a flashdrive and scan to the flashdrive?

Will it still do it if I don't give it internet connection? My current HP printer refuses to print any more after a few weeks unless I let it phone home. It would be excellent if you could confirm/deny whether I can use the MFC-L3770CDW to scan and print without any connectivity (ethernet, usb, wifi) and just power cable and flash drive.Comment
