Hello everyone, I have an issue on my Brother HL-3140CW laser printer that has been going on for some months now.
Some months ago I had to replace the fuser heat roller because a paper separation claw broke off and ripped the coating of the roller, resulting in a messed printing througout the paper sheet.
Since then the printing (except black text printing) has been blurred as images were double printed (it looks like colors are off at about 4-5 mm from the black print). I sincerely don't know if the issue has been caused from the breaking of that claw or from my repair (even if I worked flawlessly).
The color autoregistration process in the printer menu doesn't succeed, and MAINTENANCE 66 procedure in the maintenance menu fails. I tried the "Printing of misregistration correction chart" way without luck, but i'm not so sure interpreted the chart correctly.
I also tried installing spare (not new) transmission belts and toner cartridges.
Has anyone any suggestion to solve the problem or could help me using the misregistration correction chart?
