    DCP9020CDW , Waste toner box reinstalled, error still there

    Hello
    Brother DCP9020CDW toner waste container replaced.
    Error message is still there "Change toner waste container" Is there a function (code) in the service menu maintenance mode where I can delete it. Printer has only printed 2200 pages.

      No way waste box to fill for 2k pages. Something else is going on.

          what is being printed? heavy fill?

              Yes 3rd party toner . But that is not relevant, why, I have now installed a new toner waste tank WT-220CL. Error is still there.

                  have you cleaned the waste toner area? specifically where the spout goes into the bottle?

                      They collect waste into box through the belt cleaning roller and rubber blade, no chute/spout here.

                          It's a logic board error. The contacts ( three metal rings ) are cleaned with alcohol . The toner waste container is new. I have ordered two Toner waste containers. Both same result. Printer reports "change waste toner container". It's a pity that Brother has no function in the maintenance menu to reset everything. That was my last Brother I bought. 2000 pages and DCP 9020 is only for recycling .This is also not correct from Brother, there are no spare parts or repair centers for the Philippines because Brother has not released this printer for the Philippines.
