    Brother MFC-J6910DW ERROR 76

    I have a customer that wanted me to look at their brother mfc-j6910dw with a 76 error on it, I am not that familiar with that printer, I told him I would take a look at it, when I was done servicing the copier. I checked all the jam switches and the paper path for any small pieces of jammed paper and could not find anything. I am not sure what is causing this issue and was wondering if anyone has a suggestions? Thank you for your time.

          This is a really common problem on these modell, luckily its easy to fix!

          The encoder stripe is out of place where it gets thru the printerhead. Just take it, push it down and forward to you and let go and it will get in The right position again.
