I'm in a bind. I have a LaserJet Pro MFP M521.
The customer initially brought it in for not initializing. I replaced the Formatter Board and all was good for about 4 days. Then the customer reported that it was getting a Scanner Error 16 at power up, but that error is not listed in the User Guide or the Service Manual. In troubleshooting, I replaced the Formatter Board a second time.
Does anyone have an idea whether this indicates that it is the Scanner Assembly or the ADF Assembly that has failed?
