M525 MFP and P3015 Pickup roller not engaging

I had a LJ M525 MFP where the pickup roller wouldn't engage. I ended up ordering and replacing the whole tray 2 pickup assembly. What a job. This being my first time, it took about 3 hours. I guess I can do it in two next time, but what a pain. I talked to another tech who had the same thing with two different P3015's. It looks like what's happening is the plastic bushing at the gear end of the pickup shaft is coming loose. It's a lot like the bushings on either end of the PU roller.

The question is, has anyone successfully fixed this (got the bushing in the right place) without completely disassembling the machine?

I have just removed the main drive unit and replaced the bushing and the pickup shaft instead of removing the pickup unit. That way you only have to strip the top and right of the machine, not the bottom as well.

I didn't know the bushing was available. Part#?

I order the whole pickup unit but just replace the bushing and shaft. Less downtime and labour.
