turn off the printer, clear the print queue, and restart. should be fine. usually happens when printing from the web, but not always. if it's on a network you may have to clear all user's print queue's
If nothing else works, you might have to replace the formatter. But usually, this is just a corrupt job. Keep it off the network when you turn it on. When you get to ready, then plug in the network. If it starts processing a job, that means there's still something in the queue.
