HP Pagewide Pro MFP577dw/OUTPUT BIN ISSUE

    HI
I do not see many of these.Im getting the message every few copies to "Remove paper and other materials from output bin and output door area"
I do not see any senses or anything in the output area. The flap that opens and closes as paper exits machine seems to open and close without any resistance.
Has anyone had this issue before,If so please help
    Thank you Andy

    Hi
I saw some videos that showed the output bin flap as a assembly that had poron pads,The video from HP is without sound.Do I need to make sure the flap assembly has these pads? Was this a modification?
    Thank you for any help

Re: HP Pagewide Pro MFP577dw/OUTPUT BIN ISSUE

I have worked on hundred of the 476 series, 586 series and 585's. They are basically the same engine for most items. Whenever I got the false output jam error, the first thing I replaced was the output sensor (EJECT FLAP OPTO PCA D3Q24-67037) If that wasnt eh cause then it's usually the motor that lifts the flap (EJECT DRIVE GEAR MODULE D3Q24-67003). For most techs, the Pagewides can be daunting and time consuming, I recommend replacing both parts if possible if you are gonna tear unit down anyway.
