    HP Designjet T520 cartridge error

the display indicates "one or more cartridges are damaged remove and replace them ....". Already tried to replace them with new originals, also tried the new print head, I'm thinking about the flat cable, solutions? thank you

I'm not as familiar with this model, but have you tried removing the ink cartridges and printhead, then powering the printer off and on and reinstalling the printhead and cartridges as prompted?

Rule out the ink cartridges first; get another set and try them. Then the trailing cable is what I would try next.. so you're on the right path.

Like Kiran said. Remove the printhead (with the ink) and power it on. See what happens. The T120 and T520 use the same POS printhead.

I've had to do this on T120s that won't let me replace the printhead "normally" (using the procedure from the front panel).

Turn the unit off, power it back on. When the carriage is in the print path, pull the power cord and remove the printhead (with the ink). Put the power plug back in and power it on.
