designjet T520 > reports "one or more cartridges are damaged"

hi everyone, I have this designjet T520 which reports "one or more cartridges are damaged" the customer told me he replaced two black in a row, but the error continues, I told him to buy a third, that maybe those were expired .
today the customer called me back because the new black cartridge he just purchased arrived, but despite this the error continues to appear, do you have any suggestions for me?
    thank you in advance

Could be one of the other colours causing the issue, try changing them first.

Hi, thanks for the advice, today I was at the customer's, I tried to do this:
-clean print heads and all relative cartridge contact
-cleaned and lubricated the carriage shaft
-cleaned with rag and alcohol service station (mounted in machine)
-clean the encoder lightly with water and a rag
      -updated firmware
      -changed cartridges (all color)
but always the same problem "indicates the "K" is damaged or missing"
then I did a hard reset, and now it alternates between the previous problem and also "printer or ink system problem, turn the machine off and on again"
but I'm sure I did everything well and delicately (I've been cleaning printers for 35 years..lol)... what could have happened?...or maybe the cartridge error was masking this other one(?)

Replace the printhead. Very common problem with this model.

The printhead is one part that ink cartridges go into. There are no individual printheads on this model.

You MUST use the ink cartridges that come with the printhead. The plotter will know if you don't and won't continue until they are installed.

thanks, I'll keep it in mind, I saw that the machine is very dirty and stuck, I also saw that the belt of the carriage is fraying, we made a rather high repair estimate specifically to give you a new one
