Hi all, whilst i was at one of my customers servicing their copier they asked me to look at a HP printer, it has no display at all, you can hear the printer powering up, rolelrs turning, fans on etc but the display is blank. I took a look online and the only thing i could find was to power off with machine on to supposedly reset it, but that hasnt worked. I am guessing faulty screen or power supply maybe, but i'm not that familar with HP printers.

Start from cable and then check display.

In general, panels can go out on any machine. Reseat the connection to the board first. The cover may be tricky to get off, so study it for screws & tabs. Possibly the board that it plugs into may have zapped. I haven't seen in HPs yet where bad software would cause it.
