    HP Designjet T770 61:01 on MacOS 12.6

    Hello all,

    is there a way to get a Designjet T770 working on a Mac with MacOS 12.x (or 13 as this has just come out...)

    Tried various things and i'm still getting 61:01.

    Wrong file format. The printer cannot process the job. Press OK to continue.

      If your machine is not a T770 PS you won't be able to successfully sent PostScript print jobs.

      Perhaps one of the guys that knows more about MAC can say if drivers are available for HP PCL GUI, HP-GL/2, or HP RTL.
      The most recent driver on the HP website is for Mac OS 10.14, and "Supports macOS 10.14, not compatible with macOS 12 and newer"

      Perhaps there is a partially functional generic PCL3 driver for your 12.6 OS, that may work to a certain extent.

      The thing about Mac OS is that updates occur so frequently most manufacturers can not write drivers fast enough to keep up.

      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
